About Dr. Lahane
डॉ. लहाने यांच्याबद्दल
Dr. Vithal Lahane holds the highest degree in the medical field, M.Ch. in
Plastic Surgery, from Grant Medical College and J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. He chose
Latur for his practice for two main reasons: firstly, to stay close to his parents, and
secondly, to change the misconception that plastic surgery is only for the rich. His goal
was to make plastic surgery accessible to the common man and the poor.
Over the last 22 years, he has successfully fulfilled this objective, finding immense joy
and satisfaction in his work. While leaving Mumbai in March 2000, he took blessings from his
elder brother Padmashri Dr. Tatyarao Lahane and his mentor Dr. B.M. Davar, promising to
serve patients with 100% honesty and integrity.
He has been serving patients for the past 22 years on these principles. This journey of
service has been possible with the blessings of his spiritual guru Vai. H.B.P. Vithalprasad
Maharaj Dharmapurikar.
एम. सीएच. प्लास्टीक सर्जरी ही वैद्यकीय क्षेत्रातील सर्वोच्च पदवी ग्रँट
मेडीकल कॉलेज व जे. जे. ग्रुप ऑफ हॉस्पिटल्स, मुंबई येथून संपादन केल्यानंतर प्रॅक्टीससाठी
‘लातूर’ ची निवड दोन कारणांसाठी केली. पहिले माय व अण्णा (आमचे आई-वडील) यांच्या जवळ राहता येईल
आणि दुसरे म्हणजे प्लास्टीक सर्जरी ही श्रीमंतांचीच ब्रँच अशी जी संकल्पना आहे, ती बदलून
सर्वसामान्यांनासुध्दा प्लास्टीक सर्जरी करून घेता यावी, ही बँच गरीबांपर्यंत घेऊन जाता यावी या
उद्देशाने प्रॅक्टीससाठी लातूरची निवड करण्यात आली.
गेल्या २२ वर्षात हे मुख्य उद्देश अत्यंत समाधानकारकपणे पूर्ण करू शकलो. यात खूप सुख, आनंद व
समाधान मिळाले. मार्च २००० मध्ये मुंबई सोडताना माझे मोठे बंधु पद्मश्री डॉ. तात्याराव लहाने व
माझे प्लास्टीक सर्जरीचे गुरु डॉ. बी. एम. डावर सर यांचे आशीर्वाद घेतले व त्यांना एक वचन दिले
की, मी शंभर टक्के ईमानदारीने व प्रामाणिकपणे रुग्णसेवा करीन. मी माझ्या आयुष्यात असे काहीही
करणार नाही ज्यामुळे तुम्हाला त्रास होईल.
याच तत्वावर गेली २२ वर्ष रुग्णसेवा करत आहे. या २२ वर्षाच्या प्रवासात मी करत असलेली रुग्णसेवा
माझे अध्यात्मिक गुरु वै. ह. भ. प. विठ्ठलप्रसाद महाराज धर्मापुरीकर यांच्या आशिर्वादाने, माय व
अण्णा यांच्या पुण्याईने...
